Since our inception in 2018, Forbidden Colours has been a beacon of hope for LGBTIQ+ communities in Europe. We’ve achieved remarkable milestones, including pushing for the largest lawsuit in EU history against Hungary’s anti-LGBTIQ+ law, and rallying 16 member states and the European Parliament to our cause. Our efforts have cemented LGBTIQ+ inclusion as a fundamental value in the EU.

In the face of adversity, like the Ukraine crisis, we’ve been a lifeline for over 2,500 LGBTIQ+ refugees, ensuring their safety and dignity.

Recently we launched our ‘United4Diversity’ project, creating a powerful network of diverse leaders to combat anti-democratic forces and champion LGBTIQ+ rights in Europe and the United States.
